Information

Skewb is the main event of this competition.

Competitors MUST register and pay online in order to compete. No at-the-door registrations or payments will be accepted. All spectators are welcome to attend for free. Be sure to read the competitior information tab and understand the WCA Regulations before registering.

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your first event because there are no set times for each group. If your first event is later in the day, you do not have to arrive until then. If you miss your group, you will be disqualified from that event.

There is a parking lot at the venue at the rear of the building on Witte St. From here, signs will direct you to the competition.

There will not be any food provided at the competition, however there is a variety of restaurants and fast food options nearby the venue.

First-time Competitors:

All Competitors:
For each event you sign up for, you will be assigned a judging role prior to the competition. All competitors will be expected to arrive in time for their scheduled event to help out. This is separate from being on the competition staff. All competitors must perform their assigned tasks in order to compete.

If you would like to staff, please fill out the attached google form. Staff have very important and often strictly assigned roles during the competition. If you are accepted onto staff, you will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee after the competition and have the option of free pizza at lunch.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a combined round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
